Little Bugs Childcare Little Bugs Nursery is a nursery with a difference, we are a Reggio inspired nursery, with Creepy Cr Just remember knowledge is nothing without imagination.

We offer full and part time day care places for children between 0-5 years. Little bugs is conveniently located on the outskirts of York the Web Adventure Park site which is made up of lots of exciting activities for children. Our nursery is divided between two lovely open plan units which are fully equipped with resources suitable for all the children who attend our setting and the space is designed to be flexible and adaptable to enable the children to develop their full potential, abilities and curiosity through exploration and personal research. The owner of Little Bugs Childcare has two children of her own and fully understands the needs of working families and the importance of high quality, good value childcare. Our nursery ethos and mission statement which the staff of Little Bugs Childcare focus on, is in the words of Abraham Lincoln:

“The best way to predict the future is to create it”

The main focus of Little Bugs Childcare is to encourage children to fully experience their childhood in a fantastic hands on approach, just as you did as a child. We encorage children to:
Get messy
Make dens
Make sticky mud pies
Make beautiful petal perfume
Tackling challenges head on. We will encourage your child’s imagination to blossom and through this they will become our future.

Today at forest school, a group of us went foraging for berries 🌳
We discovered rosehips, sloes, and hawthorns. We listened carefully to the safety instructions about picking berries and followed them well.
Afterwards, we brought our findings to Milos in the kitchen, who praised our foraging and began to consider what delicious things he could create 👨🏻‍🍳

Nursery update

We are pleased to announce that the entire nursery is now fully air-conditioned.

We made this decision due to the constantly high temperatures we have been experiencing recently, as the wellbeing of the children remains paramount. To ensure they remain comfortable, we felt this decision was necessary.
