Dear Parents, families and friends.
Poppy's Preschool need your help !
This year as always we are holding a stall at west bank park summer fair. With this in mind we heavily rely on donations for our tombola and our raffle for prizes.
If anyone has a business/knows anyone with a business or would like to donate any gifts, vouchers etc this would be amazing.
As always Thank you in advance.
Please share far and wide 🥳

DID YOU KNOW ⁉️

Diversity in early years is crucial for fostering an inclusive environment that promotes empathy, self-worth, and respect for others from a young age. It helps children understand differences in culture, ability, and family structures, breaking down stereotypes and building a foundation for equality, social confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for others.

Did you know ⁉️
Emotions in early childhood are essential for developing self-regulation, resilience, and social skills, acting as a foundation for mental health and learning. They allow children to communicate needs, understand themselves, build empathy, manage stress, and form healthy relationships. Key benefits include improved focus, better conflict resolution, and higher academic readiness.

IMAGINARY PLAY 💭
DID YOU KNOW ….
It’s not just a stick !!

When a child uses their imagination, they’re doing much more than just “playing pretend” — they’re actively building their brain.
When children pretend to be someone else — a doctor, a parent, a superhero — they practice empathy and learn to understand different perspectives.
Imagination helps children develop creativity, emotional awareness, language skills, and cognitive flexibility — all of which lay a strong foundation for learning and healthy brain growth.
