Our Nurture Group have loved being back this week, In their forest school lesson the children were looking at natural frost, ,with it being so cold. The children monitored water bags over 2 days and then had the enjoyment of smashing the ice, watching it change shape and consistency.
Afterwards the children headed over to the woods and collected 'Y' shaped sticks to make catapults. We investigated the forces at play in launching a projectile.
It's been a very busy and cold week back!
