Today we celebrated World Environment Day!
We can look after our planet by picking up litter, watering plants, recycling, and being kind to nature. 🌿♻️ 💚🌎🐞

What a hidden gem! We loved exploring at New Earswick Nature Reserve this afternoon. Well done to all the children for super listening and behaviour. 🐞🌲🪿🌺

Today the children enjoyed making their very own bird feeders using cups! We mixed the ingredients together and chatted about the birds we might see.

We waited to see if any birds would visit, but we may have been a little too noisy! Hopefully, we will spot some birds enjoying our feeders later this week. 🐞🦜🐣🐦‍⬛

We all enjoyed a sunny stroll to Sleeper Path Community Garden. The children behaved incredibly and enjoyed exploring this lovely area right on our doorstep! We explored mini beasts, fairy houses, plants and vegetables to name a few!

We had a wonderful time on our walk to feed the ducks today. The ducks had other plans and didn’t turn up! 🦆😄
It didn’t matter, we made our own fun with dandelions instead. The children were fantastic, they did great listening and brilliant following our instructions.

Huge thank you to Joy from church 🌿 for explaining the all the lovely plants in the garden! From the calming scent of lavender to the fresh aroma of rosemary and chives, we loved every moment of smelling, learning, and discovering together. What a wonderful time! 🐞🌺🌼☀️
