Did you know today is World Photography Day? 📸
What better time to show children how beautiful this art form can be . . .
🧡We started by making some observations and discussing some nature photographs- talking about the patterns and colours captured. We then took our own photographs of the garden, capturing some of our favourite things.

Don't miss the Solar Eclipse! 🌒🌞🌝☀️
Today we have been learning all about the sun and moon and our place in space; using objects to replicate the orbits and discovering why eclipses happen.
We made our own eclipse drawings and crafted our own giant sun and moon!

Thank you for everyone who joined us this morning. It was lovely to catch up with families and a chance for parents to see what their children get up to during their nursery days. We also met lots of new faces who I hope we will see again!

Today we got to sample the first of our homegrown produce.🌱
We have been dutifully caring for our garden since the spring and today we got to pick and taste our own potatoes 😊 Everything tastes so much better when it's grown with love 🧡
