What a week! 🌟🙌🌟
Recapping some of our best moment of the last week . . .
🧡 We all loved our first Baby Band session- especially catching all the bubbles! 🫧 We are looking forward our weekly sessions
🧡 With the Autumn equinox marking the start of Autumn we have begun to observe the changing season- Little Owls love their new Autumn burrow
🧡 We have been learning about the Jewish Autumn festivals of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot and trying some traditional customs such as eating apples dipped in honey and making dens to eat our snack in
🧡 Another first- the first of our weekly Mini Kicks sessions- we loved learning some new ball skills
🧡 Wise Owls have been learning all about themselves and their friends- they have been making self portraits and comparing baby pictures with photos from now and discussing how much they have grown and all the things they can now do
🧡 Aaaarrrrhhh Matey's . . . Pirates came to take over Wise Owls- they found the matching jewels and counted all the coins and even made us walk the plank!

We can't wait for more fun next week . . . Have a great weekend everyone 🌟🧡😊

First day of school feels today 😭🎒🌟

From a teeny 3-month-old to a cheeky (and very grown-up!) 4-year-old… my second little monster has officially started big school!

And honestly, what a journey it’s been. 🧡

He has grown, learned, laughed, explored and blossomed with the help of the incredible Orchard Trees team. Every little milestone has been supported, encouraged and celebrated, and they’ve played such a huge part in helping him become the confident, capable and curious little learner he is today.

Handing your child over to someone else is never easy, but knowing he was so loved, cared for and encouraged every step of the way made all the difference. 🥹

So, a huge thank you to everyone at Orchard Trees for everything you’ve done for our boy. We’re incredibly grateful — and just a little bit emotional that this chapter has come to an end! 🧡

And to all the other little ones starting ‘big school’ this week… good luck! 🌟 You’ve got this! 🎒🍎

Did you know today is World Photography Day? 📸

What better time to show children how beautiful this art form can be . . .
🧡We started by making some observations and discussing some nature photographs- talking about the patterns and colours captured. We then took our own photographs of the garden, capturing some of our favourite things.

We'd love to see some of your photographs- share them with us in the comments.
Happy snapping! 📸🌟
