For the past two weeks at York Associates, we were honoured to train the first of three groups of teachers from Spain coming to us this summer!

Our homestay hosts were all delighted to have them during their studies and only wish they could have stayed longer!

They certainly enjoyed their studies on one of our courses, tailored specifically to their needs.

We look forward to hosting the next groups in the coming weeks!

Congratulations to our departing participant, Gonzalo, who came to us from Chile 🇨🇱!

In his four weeks with us, he studied in group lessons, and enhanced his studies with some in the same subject!

We wish him every success in the business world and hope to see him again soon.

Today we said goodbye to several participants from France 🇲🇫 and Germany 🇩🇪!

They studied on a range of our courses, including and and it was lovely to see them come together during socials!

We wish them all the best in future professional endeavours.

Today we said goodbye to our participant Yoon after three great weeks of study! 🎓📚🎉

Initially, he came to our partner school, English in York, but soon found that the course content offered by York Associates' Fluent English course was a better fit for his language learning goals.

We were more than happy to accommodate his request, and he spent the next few weeks there, improving his fluency with participants from all around the world! 🌎

We wish Yoon all the best and to enjoy his travels in the near future! ✈️✈️

So ends another busy week here at York Associates!

This week we said goodbye to three participants from all across Germany 🇩🇪, and next week we look forward to training returning participants from Switzerland 🇨🇭 and Korea 🇰🇷!

As always, we wish our departing participants all the best going forward and hope to see them again soon!

After 10 incredible weeks with us, our participant Marcelo has completed his course.

He is soon to return to his native Chile, which is currently experiencing summer (much to our envy here in Yorkshire) 🇨🇱

In his time with us, he rubbed shoulders with and befriended people from every inhabited continent on Earth! Unfailingly good-humoured, Marcelo was always up for a challenge or an adventure.

The smiles you see in these photos are not only genuine, but never left his face during his entire time with us!

The length of his course set a record for our training centre and for this he was given an award in addition to his course completion certificate - never before have we had a participant stay for so long!
