Reading in the early years is very important for children’s literacy and language development. Sharing books helps children learn new words, understand sounds and stories, and develop important communication skills that support their learning as they grow. We have a small library in the office where children can borrow books to take home and enjoy reading with you! Reading together at home helps build a love for books and strengthens children’s language skills. It is never too early to start reading with your child! If you would like more ideas on how to promote language development at home with your child, please speak to a member of staff who will be happy to help. The National Literacy Trust website also has lots of helpful resources for early language development and how you can support this at home https://literacytrust.org.uk/early-years/ 📚👶✨

Although we may be a little late to the party for National Apprenticeship Week, it’s never too late to celebrate our amazing apprentices – Jorja, Ruby, Louisa and Jorja! 🌟 They are a true asset to our team, each bringing their own strengths, qualities and enthusiasm. Their passion for working with children shines through every day, and they consistently show professionalism, conscientiousness and dedication to their learning. We are so proud of the commitment they show and the way they contribute to making our team feel like one big family. 👏
