Just a quick reminder of our Toy Sale tomorrow, Friday 21st October between 3pm till 7pm. Our lovely staff will be here. Food will be provided and the bar will be open. Please come down to see us, It be great to see you all!

We are remaining open until the 21st of October 2022. We are no longer taking any new bookings for September - October. This is to ensure we are compliant with staff ratios. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Further to our correspondence, we have had several consultation meetings with the staff at our Out of school club and it is with great sadness that we are writing to confirm that we have explored every avenue to try and keep our out of school provision open but closure is unavoidable.

We will be operating a four day week, closing on Fridays for the first half of term until 21st October and we will not re-open after the half term break.

Potential closure-
The Out of school club has been proud to serve the community for many years and has been an essential service for many families. It is therefore with a heavy heart that we are writing to you but as many other businesses Copmanthorpe Out of school club has suffered financially because of the pandemic. We are currently going through a consultation process with our employees, considering whether we may need to close the Out of school club in it's entirety. We must stress that this has has been discussed with the employees and no decision has been made at this stage. We are currently exploring as many avenues as we can to keep kids club operating. This is a very difficult time for staff and we would appreciate it if you could respect them and the need to keep internal discussions confidential. Therefore we cannot give you more information at the moment. We appreciate that this may come as a shock to you which is why we are giving you this information now and the reassurance we will certainly remain operating until October 2022 half term.
