🌟 Welcome to all the new and returning nursing students joining us this September! 🌟 We are so excited to see you at the upcoming Freshers Fair and welcome you all, and hopefully have you join our NurSoc family! Join us for a fun-filled family friendly picnic at 2pm on Wednesday the 17th of July, in the field opposite Heslington Hall! Bring your own food and blankets and come relax in the sun! Society members can enjoy free ice cream while mingling with fellow nurses and their friends and family. In the event of bad weather, we will update this post with an alternative indoor space. Don't miss out on this opportunity to relax and unwind with your fellow nursing students. See you there! 🍦🌞

Get ready for NurSoc does Park Run Take 2- York Edition!
Join us at York Race course (opposite the grandstand) for an 8:45am start time - run, jog, or walk, you don't have to be an athlete to take part! Make sure to use the Park Run registration link if you'd like to join us. Free sports drink and fruit for NurSoc members!

Join NurSoc for a fun-filled evening at the Rook and Gaskill Pub on Thursday 30th May for our Nursing Society Pub Quiz! 🍻🧠

Put your knowledge to the test and compete for some fantastic prizes while enjoying snacks provided by the society. Food and drink will also be available to purchase throughout the night.

Join us for our next event, NurSoc does Park Run!

We will be taking part in two Park Runs this year, and our first one is on the 18th of May. Join us at York Sports Village for an 8:45am start time - run, jog, or walk, you don't have to be an athlete to take part!

Make sure to use the Park Run registration link if you'd like to take part, and also please could members fill out the Google form below if you'd like to join us. Free sports drink and fruit for NurSoc members!

Join us for NurSoc's first guest speaker of the year!

We are thrilled to be hosting Matthew Osborne, lecturer at the University of Essex, for a presentation on "Tackling the Tascification of Nursing"

Open to all students and staff, please join us on Friday the 3rd of May, 4-6:30 pm, in ARC/014 - Refreshments available
