The Role

As Third in Charge, you will support the Manager and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring outstanding care, learning opportunities, and safeguarding standards for all children.
Key Responsibilities
-Support the Manager and Deputy in overseeing daily nursery operations
-Lead and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality EYFS practice
-Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements and nursery policies
-Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
-Take responsibility for the nursery in the absence of senior leadership
-Support staff development, supervision, and mentoring
About You
We are looking for someone who:
-Holds a Level 3 (minimum) Early Years qualification
-Has previous supervisory or room leader experience
-Has strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures

Job Description:
Bright Beginnings Childcare Agency are looking to recruit a Deputy manager for a small, busy nursery just outside of Richmond. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, a strong background in early childhood education, specifically a senior position/management, and the ability to effectively manage staff.
Duties
-Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare.
-Assist in leading and supporting a team of childcare professionals.
-Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians.
-Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
-Monitor children's progress and development through regular assessments and observations.
-Assist in managing nursery budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
-Proven leadership experience within a nursery environment
-A Full and Relevant Childcare Qualification.

Role Summary
We are seeking a nurturing, proactive, and dependable Nanny/Housekeeper to support a family with childcare and household responsibilities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys creating a calm and happy environment for children while keeping the household running smoothly.

About the Nanny Role:
