The York Ballroom and Latin Society (YBLS) is a society at the University of York providing lessons in Ballroom and Latin American dance. Lessons are for both students and non-students, taught by Joel Chapman, a professional teacher from the Rock Academy of Dance (York, UK). The society runs weekly lessons and practice sessions during university term time. The dances:

The ultimate test of who can keep a straight face under pressure. Expect outrageous challenges, hilarious moments and plenty of attempts to make each other crack!
The rules are simple: don’t laugh or don’t smile. One by one, anyone who breaks is out - until there’s only one person remaining standing as the ultimate champion
