Do you or your teenager need a tutoring boost for this school year and GCSE English exams? Are you/they aiming for a 4+ pass to go on to sixth form/college/university/the workplace?
Class Above is my English tuition service. I do online and in-person lessons in York with 1-1 slots on weekday evenings and weekends. Join a fully qualified English teacher with experience working in secondary schools. I have successfully mentored tutees through exams for the last 6 years.
Your lessons will be fully interactive and tailor-made by me to address your weaknesses and boost your exam skills! With a bank of resources based on the AQA, EDUQAS and EDEXCEL exam specifications for GCSE English Language & Literature, I can support you on an individual basis and push you beyond what is possible for a school teacher with limited time and a demanding class of learners.
You don't need to feel like you're sinking under the weight of exam stress or waste hours at home procrastinating aimlessly while trying to revise Shakespeare, 'An Inspector Calls', poetry or one of the Language papers! Join me this year to work smart and regain your confidence!
SPECIAL BACK TO SCHOOL OFFER: Bundle of 5 lessons of 1 hour each for £130. That's £26/hour for focused and individually planned 60 minute tuition lessons via Zoom or in person in York. Or, pay £30 per lesson per time. The price also includes all resources, including homework tasks, and marking of writing outside of lesson time. I also give feedback and encouragement over email and direct messaging and can answer any queries/give advice at any time. If you are interested, get in touch now!
