Fangfest Festival Fangfest Festival of Practical Arts is an annual festival held in Fangfoss, just outside York, UK. Each September we get together with local creatives and businesses to celebrate traditional and contemporary arts and crafts skills.

Christine Addley is a chair seater, working in cane, sea grass, rush and danish cord to create traditional, intricate woven seating. With 45yrs experience, Christine has reseated many items from antique pieces to simple cottage chairs. She also works with upholstery and wood turning.
Visit Christine at Fangfest and see her demonstrating throughout the weekend - you will also have the opportunity to create a sample panel, which fits in a frame to show of your new skill! 💛

Swirlz will be bringing their delicious scoops to Fangfest - find them at the gate to The Orchard, by the Village Green for a tasty treat or two! 🍦💛

Join Carrie Lyall Printmaker at her Tetra Pak printmaking workshop, upstairs at Fangfoss Pottery on Sunday 6th September.

Ideal for beginners and suitable for ages 12+. Bring along some reference images that inspire you and finish the day with your own prints to take home.
