A lovely review from Natalie who's been learning French with me for over 4 years now. She can now chat away fluently and loves travelling to different areas of France to practise her skills 😀

Recommendation!😀The free podcasts from Coffee Break Languages are brilliant! Just look for Coffee Break French or Coffee Break Italian wherever you get your podcasts and have a listen while you're pootling around at home. They start from the very beginning - learning how to say hello, goodbye, please and thank you, etc. - and continue in a logical order through different topics and grammar points (to quite an advanced level). So if you're off on your hols and need to learn a few phrases, e.g. for ordering drinks or a meal, why not give this a go? Other languages are also available. You can find more info at coffeebreaklanguages.com. Let me know if you find it useful!
PS I have no affiliation whatsoever to this or any other online language resources (I'm really not that enterprising🤣)

OK, so I haven't posted anything since October last year... Oops! If you're after some language lessons and this page tells you absolutely nothing about whether I'm still operating, then please accept my apologies!
The thing is, I'm just too busy teaching to even think about social media most of the time! I love teaching face-to-face and spending time with my students, so that's basically what I've been up to. None of that online malarkey! I actually like to get to know my students properly and use a REAL WHITEBOARD - with REAL PENS and things (call me old-fashioned) - and bring everyone together occasionally for the odd social event 😊
If you're interested in learning French or Italian at any level whatsoever, then I do have a small number of slots available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays are currently full, but there's always the waiting list...
So if you're keen to embark upon the madness, frustration, jollity and intellectual game of Twister that is 'learning a new language', then please check out my website and drop me an email. There's no need to wait for September, as I teach all year round!
TTFN! 🥰

This AI overview of one of my invoices today made me laugh. Apparently I have a sister called Ryburn Close (which is my address). I suppose there are worse names to call people!🤣

Had a lovely social meetup/lunch today with some of my French, Italian and Spanish students at The Bakehouse Yorkshire. Delicious food and great company! 😀🍰🍨🫖☕

What a lovely testimonial I have just received from Alex, one of my French students - thank you so much! 😇

So is the bar on the 3st floor?🤣🤣🤣
This is why you shouldn't trust the machines to do your translations!!!
