💚From tray to table top to floor! We adapt, learn, and grow some more.💚
💚Here at LGR Elvington, it's not a one size fits all...we strive to ensure our rascals are treated as individuals in all aspects of nursery life.💚
💚Here is a small example of how we do this. For our littlest baby, the tray allows her to explore the same activity whilst supported. The table top encourages our nearly walking babies and our already there walkers to pull themselves up, walk, and navigate space at the table. And our floor activity is accessible to those who are sitting and crawling. These small actions continue right through the nursery, whether it be tools easier for children to hold or changing activities to suit preferences(some like it messy, some like it clean. Some don't like it at all, and that's just fine) we have something for everyone here at LGR Elvington 💚

💥Calling all new families💥
We want to invite you all to come look around our lovely nursery. On Friday, 15th of May, we will be opening our doors from 9 till 5 for you to drop in as you please. Refreshments will be available, and there's no need to book. Just bring yourselves and any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you all 💚

Pens and paint aren't the only way to mark make, here at little green rascals, we like to experiment and explore. So today we've investigated how frozen food colouring and water can create wonderful art. If you want to try this at Home, here's how...
What you'll need.
* ice tray
* food colouring
* lollipop sticks
Method.
* Fill ice trays with water and food colouring
* Place lollipop sticks into each compartment
* Freeze
* Remove ice from tray
* create your masterpiece
