This summer is too quiet! The second year in a row without any Summer School etc projects to deliver! So we thought you might like to check out Sam’s songs from his gig at Buxton Fringe last week. You can find them here!

At this time 2012 we were doing our first Summer School etc at Hull New Theatre (and we had the awesome audition quote 'her singing was so good I stopped picking my toenail!'
Last year at this time we were finishing our Seussical Jr Summer School etc in Hull New Theatre!
This year we aren’t doing any, for the first time since 2010 when we started.
We’re enjoying the Facebook memories which pop up though, and we hope that you’re all doing well!

We've been thinking about inspiration over these last few months, and working on an idea for a thing, and could use your help! Yes you. Can you answer a few questions? You don't have to write long answers, and it's not specifically about music or dance or theatre or the arts.

It's about being inspired.
It's about being an inspiration.
It's about being inspirational.
It's about the distinctions between those things. So some of the questions might feel quite similar, but that's ok.

It won’t come as a surprise, and you’ve probably guessed, but we won’t be running any summer schools this year.

This is the first summer since we started that we’ve not had projects. We love meeting new participants, welcoming back familiar faces, seeing colleagues in venues and working with our awesome practitioners - some of whom have been with us since our first projects!

We’ll be back when we can do what we do safely, or adapt what we do so that it is safe.

A year ago today we were in Selby Abbey with our friends from Selby District Council and Selby 950. It was an amazing project and we had so much fun!
It’s been months since we’ve been able to run projects and workshops. We had a lot of work cancelled. But we’ll be back.
