What a whirlwind of a week! Our amazing students from all levels have produced some great work this week. From hand knotted crochet wigs using textured hair, designing beautiful hair flowers, creating great character design from. The Sweeney Todd script and flatmolds and some prosthetic limbs 😅🥰🤩

This week, our students have created some fantastic imagery that beautifully showcases their makeup and hair artistry. These professional images will form part of their online portfolios, alongside their showreels and CVs, as they prepare to step confidently into industry networking opportunities.

We had a fun workshop today as students explored the question 'What is art?' Some interesting discussions took place with students also recreating modern portraiture on each other...

As we approach the end of the Period Hairdressing module, I’m always a little sad to see this one conclude—I truly enjoy teaching it. As a finale, students are given the freedom to apply their newly developed skills by designing an elaborate Georgian hairstyle. Today, they are refining their constructions in preparation for next week’s final dressing.

Level 4 Media Makeup students are nearing completion of their first wig foundation, creating their own bespoke, custom-fitted human hair wigs. Most of the group will begin the hair ventilation stage next week, marking an exciting milestone in their technical development.
