This month's Pints and Postholes is finally here!!
Thurs 16th Feb at 6pm, The Exhibition Hotel
And this one is a little different, running as a teach out event in support of all our striking staff here at the University of York and UCU. Come along and enjoy some wonderful talks from accross the department from Will Plant talking about early railway buildings of the North, Steph Piper sharing some results from the Caeros Project in Wester Ross and Michelle Alexander exploring diet in Medieval Mediterranean multifaith societies, this month we also welcome a guest speaker Lu Stanton-Greenwood talking to us about data usage in archaeology 'data therapy'
As this month is in support of UCU we will also welcome anyone who would like to talk briefly on radical archaeology/UCU/the current strikes/civil disobedience or similar to stand and say a few words.
