What do we mean by pop-up play?
Well, take a look at some photos from today:
- we shared stories
- we played bean bag toss
- we shopped for potion ingredients
- we cooked up a feast
- we created coffee filter flowers
- we painted sunflowers
- we explored foliage in water
Most importantly it gave us a reason to not just get out of the house but get outside.
It was good to be back doing pop-ups today, it was even worth getting absolutely drenched packing away after the second session.
We still have space on some summer sessions and we will be releasing Autumn term dates soon π€©
Sadly, Facebook have changed the rules so we aren't able to add a direct link to the pop ups without paying but check out our website for all the most up to date dates and locations!

Gardening is a great way to spend some time together with your little one. It's fun, it's educational and it doesn't matter if you don't know what you are doing because you can investigate together!
Have you grown anything this year? π±πͺπ»

We had a break from social media (aside from the odd story update) as we really believe it's important to put technology away from time to time and really focus on the people around us.
Feeling recharged from a break, we now have three weeks of summer specials and we would love to see you there!
All sessions start at 10am, except on the 19th August we added a session at 11:15 as the earlier one has sold out.
Grab your ticket before they go π€©

What a great start to the summer!
This morning a range of ages gathered in the beautiful garden of Acomb Methodist Church. There is no photographic evidence of the fun (we are a bit rubbish at that) but memories were made.
We hatched frozen eggs, we spotted birds in the scavenger hunt, we created beautiful nests and decorated birds to sit in then, we sang, we made the parachute fly, we smiled and we connected.
Come join us at a future date ππΎ

It will be a different theme but the same fun!

The holidays don't have to be full of big days out. Small moments of connection, even just walking down the street can be just as magical.
We are going to be emailing our newsletter list simple ideas to get you outside each week. If you aren't signed up yet (it's totally free!) then can do so here

Here's why you should join us this summer:
β¨ It's a reason to get outside and be with others (both factors will make you feel better!)
β¨ Your little one will be busy and you don't need to think of any ideas, set anything up, or even clear away!
β¨ Older siblings can book on too. Once you start school you don't get offered opportunities to play in the same way and you know what? They still LOVE it!
β¨ It can inspire further play - after playing with the nature shop at a session this morning a little one was going straight home to set up a shop in their garden
Full list of sessions:
Wed 22 July, Acomb
Wed 19 August, Acomb
Thursday 20th August, Bishopthorpe
Friday 21st August, Tockwith
Wed 26th August, Acomb
Friday 28th August, Haxby
Sessions are filling up so book your spot today and know you're in for a fun morning

A warm hello to those of you who are new here. It's quite hard to describe three people and what they are all about in a few words but we gave it a go.
Basically we try to be nice people and encourage you to get outside!!
Those of you who know us, what did we miss?
We hope you are enjoying the slightly less hot weather!
