Friday night was a very special one as we said goodbye to our fabulous PQA York Friday Poppets Teaching Assistant, Feena! 🥹🎭

After an incredible 3 years as part of our Poppets team, Feena is heading off on her next big adventure — becoming a primary school teacher on the Isle of Man! 🍎📚✨

Over the years, Feena has brought so much creativity, kindness, energy and fun to our Poppets sessions, helping our youngest performers learn, grow and shine. We are so grateful for everything she has given to our Poppets family! 💛

We know you are going to be an amazing teacher, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you achieve in this next chapter. You are going to absolutely smash it! 🌟

Our Friday Poppets had so much fun exploring physical and vocal warm ups, using games, imagination, and plenty of energy to discover more about their voices. 🌟

The best part? They weren’t just having fun — they were learning why warming up is important for performers too! 🤩

This is one of the many things we love about our Poppets classes — building confidence, learning new skills, and creating magical moments through play, laughter, and creativity! 💛🎭

🎬✨ Cinema Screening! ✨🎥

Fab work on Saturday as we continued preparing for our Cinema Screening Project! 🍿🌟

At the moment, we're in the pre-production stage of the filmmaking process. This is where all the creativity happens before the cameras start rolling! 🎬

Our students have been:
📝 Exploring story ideas and developing scripts
🎥 Getting hands-on with the film kit and equipment
🤝 Building production crews and assigning roles
📸 Planning and choreographing shots
🎬 Learning how to turn great ideas into great films

Pre-production is such an important part of filmmaking, and it's been fantastic to see our young filmmakers working together to bring their ideas to life. We can't wait to move into production and start filming! 🌟🍿

🎭✨ Musical Theatre at PQA York Saturday! ✨🎶

AMAZING work in our first Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. rehearsals! 🌟🏰

Last weekend, we tackled the very first number in the show, and WOW — it’s already looking fantastic! 🎶👏 From singing and choreography to storytelling and character, our students threw themselves into the rehearsal process with so much energy and enthusiasm.

We cannot wait to continue bringing this magical Disney production to life and see the show grow over the coming weeks! ✨🌈🎭

🎭😂 Comedy & Drama at PQA York Friday! ✨🎤

We’re continuing with our brand new Stand Up Comedy project, exploring what it takes to keep an audience entertained, engaged and laughing! 🌟

From developing stage presence and microphone confidence to creating original jokes and comedy routines, our students are learning the skills needed to become stand-up performers. 🎙️😂

It’s been fantastic to see their creativity and confidence grow already, and we can’t wait to hear more of the hilarious material they come up with over the coming weeks! 🎭✨

We are SO excited to be bringing this magical Disney production to life with our amazing students from PQA York AM & PM! 🎶🏰

Rehearsals have kicked off with plenty of singing, dancing, acting and imagination as we begin building the world of the show. Already, the energy, enthusiasm and talent in the room has been incredible! 🌈🎤
