PQA Poppets is the perfect introduction to performing arts, where little ones can build confidence, make friends and have loads of fun through singing, dancing and acting.

Our Poppets sessions are now:

🎭 Friday | 5.00–6.30pm
🎭 Saturday | 10.00–11.30am
🆕 Saturday | 11.30am–1.00pm

That's absolutely okay! Many of our students join feeling nervous. We create a warm, supportive environment where every child can build confidence at their own pace.

🎤 "I don't think they'll enjoy singing."
PQA is so much more than singing! Every student experiences Film & TV, Comedy & Drama and Musical Theatre, giving them the chance to discover what they enjoy most.

🕺 "They've never danced before."
No experience? No problem! Our classes are designed for all abilities, and our teachers are there to support every student from day one.

👕 "What should they wear?"
Anything comfortable that they can move around in! There's no need for specialist clothing for a taster session—just come ready to have fun.

⭐ "Can they try before joining?"
Yes! We offer a free taster session so your child can experience PQA, meet the teachers and make sure it's the right fit before signing up.

What a week! We’re so proud of every young performer who took part in this week’s School of Rock summer school in York! It was a genuine joy to work with every single student - we all feel very lucky to call this our job! 💛

We’ve had the most fabulous Day 2 of Summer School today! 🤘🏼 School of Rock is looking AMAZING! 👀

We’ve only got 2 major numbers left to learn, then it’s time for the smaller scenes, costumes, tech and SHOWTIME!

All of this whilst focusing on what makes PQA special: giving every child the chance to find their confidence, make new friends, be themselves and create something they can be incredibly proud of. 💛

Because yes, we’re putting on a show… but it’s the memories, friendships and confidence they take home that really matter. ✨
