Ready for another days training.
There will be a level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course running on the 26th of Feb if you need to do a refresher or update your skills. Drop us a line for more info.
Good to hear that the AED I installed in Elvington at the medical centre was activated yesterday. Luckily it wasn’t used so patient must have not needed it.

WEL Medical has been contacted by a number of clients who, due to recent reports in the press, have asked if there are any known faults or issues with the iPAD range of defibrillators. We would like to assure you that NO iPAD defibrillators have been affected by any issues that require any remedial action. There are no known manufacturing faults.

1,000 lives a year could be saved if more people attempted first aid Just four out of ten members of the public are prepared to attempt to keep someone alive undergoing a cardiac arrest using first aid. But if they did 1,000 lives could be saved yearly.
