We're working with Priory Pharmacy to offer a drop-in vaccination clinic exclusively for our Year 13 students on Wednesday 13 August, from 8.30am–12.30pm in the Hair Salon.

If you're heading to university or starting your next adventure, the MenB vaccine is an important way to help protect yourself against meningitis before you go.

🎶 An inspiring visit to the Royal Northern College of Music! 🎶

Our Year 1 A Level Music students recently visited the Royal Northern College of Music, where they had the pleasure of meeting former student and alumni, Grace Hughes.

During their visit, students observed open rehearsals, explored the impressive RNCM campus, enjoyed live performances by current students, and discovered the fascinating collection of medieval musical instruments in the RNCM Museum.

It was a fantastic opportunity to experience life at a world-renowned conservatoire and gain valuable insight into the exciting possibilities that a future in music can offer.

A huge thank you to Grace and everyone at the RNCM for such a memorable and inspiring day! 🎼✨

🩺 Year 13 Leavers – Protect yourself before university!

The NHS is now offering a FREE Meningitis B (MenB) vaccination for Year 13 leavers.

To make it as easy as possible, we're working with Priory Pharmacy to host a **drop-in vaccination clinic at York College on Wednesday 13th August, from 8.30am–12.30pm in the Hair Salon.

Collecting your results? Pop in and get your first MenB vaccination while you're here.

💉 The vaccine is given in two doses, at least 4 weeks apart, so it's recommended to get your first dose before starting university or your next steps this autumn.

☀️ College is officially out for summer! ☀️

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year—we can't wait to see what the next academic year brings.

Our staff are now taking a well-earned break and will be on annual leave over the summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in August, refreshed and ready for another exciting year.
