Endless fun at our ‘Safari Day’ yesterday! Lots of role play, making masks and model animals. We made our own giraffe biscuits too. So good to see our children demonstrating their physical skills, using maths to cook and enjoying using their imaginations to play in the safari tuff trays.

Another busy day in the woods. Although a very hot day we were cooler beneath the shade of the trees. The children finished off the weighing scales and made some other creations using the wood and knives - they were very proud of what they made! We made some clay faces and we followed the children's lead as they experimented using some charcoal to make paint 😁

It was great to be back in the woods today with our schoolies! We've made some owls, using feathers we collected in the woods. We've been using the tools to make some weighing scales...pictures to follow later in the week. Also busy den building, using the tools and playing in the mud kitchen. Also we had a go at a different way of making bracelets. We're back again tomorrow 😁

Another great day in the woods! Today we continued using the tools and made our own cars! We had a go at making paracord bracelets too. Some of the children continued with the fairy garden and created a swing - lots of creative thinking on how to get it to work. We'll be back at Forest School again in August 😁

Another great day at the woods with our schoolies! The children extended the fairy garden and made a table and chairs to go in it. Some children were digging in their "excavation site". We've also been busy using the knives, hammers and wood to make various creations. Lots of lovely creativity with the weaving and drawing and we also made our own musical shakers!

We were excited today to be back at Forest School with the schoolies! We've made fairy gardens, made our own clay woodland animals, and had lots of fun digging! We used hammers and leaves to make and decorate our own flags and some of us made our own bees too using the knives and gimlets. Lots of fun! Back again tomorrow 😁
