Can you solve this?

Regular practice in maths helps you to retain formulae, concepts and procedural fluency, by moving information from short term working memory into durable long term memory.

Revisiting old topics helps strengthen your ability to recall, whilst building confidence, allowing faster and more reliable flow of work.

Practicing algebraic questions, or following solutions is a great way to master the skills required.

Make sure whatever actions you do on one side you do the same on the other side!

What do you get?

Check out my YouTube channel for shorts on similar problems with their solutions.

Creative activities make applying maths fun!

Enjoying the activities helps to create memories which supports retaining and future recall of the topics.

All you need is…
Paper and pen
Ping pong balls
Tubs
Table tennis bat
Bean bags
Cans
Hoops

How to play…
Create activities to award points. Here we have…
Bouncing ping pong balls into tubs - 1 point per tub where a ping pong ball lands
Knocking over cans with beanbags - 1 point per can knocked over
Tapping a ball up and down with a bat - 1 point per tap
Throwing bean bags into hoops - 1 point per bag that lands in a hoop
At the end create a pictogram to illustrate the points earnt per activity

This is easy to set up and fun to do.
