At the weekend, our fantastic Archie from Y6 won the Grade Five, Under 14’s category at a tennis tournament in Liverpool. What an amazing achievement! Congratulations Archie! 🥇

Our Faith in Action Team will be holding a bake sale straight after school on Thursday 19th March. All proceeds will go towards our CAFOD fundraising. Please bring in any donations of cakes, biscuits and sweet treats on the morning of the 19th. Thank you.

Well done to Years 1 and 2 who completed their Lenten walk yesterday. They walked to St George’s Church and enjoyed a tour round with Father Jo. We have raised £70 for CAFOD so far. Just £7 more and our money will build a floating garden! Thank you to all the parents who joined us yesterday and thank you for your donations.

Year 5 pupils delivered a brilliant assembly this week about AI and God. They confidently explored how new technologies can be used for good while remembering that God calls us to use our gifts wisely and responsibly. The children spoke beautifully and shared thoughtful ideas.

We had a wonderful visit from a real illustrator and author on World Book Day! Eleana Skoreyko Wagner came to visit Year 1 to tell us the process of illustrating the stories. The children were amazed that she made the illustrations from collage. She also read one of the stories which the children absolutely loved. 🥰
