Reminder!! Scacroft parents and guardians - FoSS will be running the end of half-term bake-sale at pick-up today. There will be a selection of wonderful things available from as little as 50p each! Who could resist, right?

The Scarcroft 2024 Hallowe'en Trail map will also be available from the bake-sale table for £1. Pick the map up today so you can plan your route! :)

We will have a card reader, but it would be excellent if you could bring cash. We will have change.

The Scarcroft School Hallowe'en Disco will be kicking off for KS2 children in just under 2 hours. There will be prizes for the best costume, and best dancer - so come in your scariest costume and ready to throw some shapes!

There will be a tuck-shop in the disco so please send children with a small amount of change (no more than £5 per child).

Grown-ups can leave and come back to collect, or there will be teas and coffees on sale in the Nest for those who wish to stick around.

We hope all your little monsters have a wonderful, spooky time.

Our first bake-sale of the year will take place next Thursday at pick-up time, and we need to have all sorts of lovely treats to sell.

Cup-cakes, tea-cakes, fudge-cake, tray-bakes, Battenburg, Victoria Sponge, flapjack, short-bread, millionaire, zillionaire, cheesecake, banana-bread - whatever is your speciality, or tickles your fancy.

*** Reception Parents ***

Every year we produce a wonderful tea-towel to mark the beginning of our Reception children's school journey. Each child creates a self-portrait which will be added to the tea-towel alongside the Scarcroft School logo.

We try to keep keep these as affordable as possible to ensure all parents are able to buy their edition.

The children will soon be drawing their fabulous portraits, and we'll let you know via email when the tea-towels are available to pre-order on ParentPay.

Hurrah!! The Trail maps have been approved and they are going to press this week.

The printed maps will be available from the tea & coffee stand at the Hallowe'en Disco, the Bakesale table on the last day of term, and from selected businesses on Bishyroad from Monday.

Today is the final day to get listed on the Scarcroft School 2024 Hallowe'en Trail map!

Do you want to get into the spirit of things? Whether you're undecided, letting us know is something you've been putting off, or you've simply forgotten - no worries!
