📢 Toilet Training Workshop at Clifton Green Primary School! 🚽✨

Do you have a younger child at home preparing for school, or know a family member who would benefit from some expert advice? The Healthy Child Service is hosting a workshop to help your little ones get ready for Reception!

Research shows that toilet training between 18 and 30 months is best for health and helps children feel confident and included when they start school.

📅 When: Tuesday 7th July 2026
🕑 Time: 2:00 PM (1-hour session)

The Healthy Child Service are delivering toilet training workshops across York in throughout May to July. All sessions are one hour long, please arrive 15 minutes before the sessions begins,

🌿🐾 Celebrating David Attenborough’s 100th Birthday! 🐾🌿

This Friday, we’ll be celebrating the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough in school!

Children are invited to come dressed in animal print, safari colours, or even as an animal if they wish. Safari colours could include greens, browns, beiges, khaki, or sandy tones. Please don’t feel any pressure to buy anything new—simple and creative ideas are perfect.

We’ll be enjoying a range of creative activities and themed learning throughout the day, inspired by the natural world and Sir David Attenborough’s incredible work.

We’re really looking forward to a fun and inspiring day! 🌍✨

Today we said goodbye to Miss Mould after an incredible 34 years at Clifton Green. Thank you for your dedication, care and commitment to generations of children and families. We wish you all the very best as you enjoy a slower pace of life and some much-needed time for yourself – you will be greatly missed! 💙
