🚁🏆 WORLD RECORD BROKEN! 🏆🚁

What an incredible day at the BRA Fly-In at Old Warden! We were proud to be part of the event as the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of gyrocopters at a flying event was officially broken! 🎉

Our 4-gyro formation flight from the East Coast made the journey even more memorable, with a stop at Deenethorpe en route before joining gyro pilots and enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond.

A fantastic atmosphere, amazing machines, great friends, and a historic achievement for the gyro community. Congratulations to everyone involved in making it happen!

Woop woop! 🙌🚁

It’s a great Gyrocopter display on the East Coast.!🚁

We're pleased to announce that the Hawker Fury FB.11 and AutoGyro Calidus will be joining us at Scarborough Armed Forces Day.

The Hawker Fury FB.11 is a British fighter aircraft and was the last propeller-driven fighter to serve with the Royal Navy. It proved to be a popular aircraft with a number of overseas militaries, and was used during the Korean War in the early 1950s, as well as against the 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion of Cuba.

The AutoGyro Calidus is a small, lightweight aircraft with a freely-spinning rotor on top and an engine-powered propeller. Unlike helicopters, the rotor isn’t driven by the engine – it turns because of the air flowing through it as the aircraft moves forward.

Scarborough Armed Forces Day takes place from 11am until 5pm on Saturday 27 June at Scarborough’s South Bay.

That look when your student gets his CAA pilot licence in the post 😁🚁 Huge congratulations — the licence has officially landed!

It’s always a special moment when the hard work, training and persistence turn into that blue CAA licence wallet. A very proud day for student and instructor alike.

Well done from all of us at East Coast Gyrocopters York — enjoy every minute of the flying ahead.
