Big sporting success for York! 🎉🥏
A group of 19 students from Fulford School have been selected to represent Great Britain in Ultimate Frisbee, earning places across both the under-17 and under-20 national squads.
They’ll be heading to major international competitions in Vienna and Logroño later this summer, taking on some of the best young players from around the world 🌍
It’s a huge achievement not just for the students, but for the school too, with the sport growing rapidly in recent years thanks to strong teamwork and dedication from players and coaches alike.
The team is now fundraising to help cover travel costs, with a goal of £40,000 — and any extra raised will go towards helping future young athletes get the same opportunity.
A massive well done to everyone involved — York’s definitely one to watch on the Ultimate Frisbee scene!
