Hello to all of our lovely followers !
Just a heads up that due to META not allowing us to access the 3d Creative Practice instagram (which is linked to this FB page) we are directing our posts to the insta /fb pages.
You can find out what's going on at York School of Art (insta & FB), and you will get a broader picture of how we are connected as a whole department.
When/If we gain access to the 3d Creative Practice insta account , you will be the first to know. In the mean time please do follow via insta & FB .
Thanks and happy creating !!!!

A huge 'THANKS' to manager Steve Williams for offering such a rich and layered insight into the gardens for our L4 3d, Fashion & graphics students today. The students most certainly have some very valuable primary research to explore , which will inform their designs for their new module !

Second year student .design has been working with our Vocational ESOL students this week, to make ceramic tiles based on their cultural identity and their home country.
This collaborative art piece is part of the BA 3D Creative Practice ‘Audience Engagement’ project, where each student is creating work based on one of the Sustainable Development Goals. Lily is working with Goal 17, which refers to the need for the nonhegemonic and fair cross sector and cross country collaborations in pursuit of all the goals by the year 2030. It is a call for countries to align policies.
The final work will be installed in our sustainable garden at alongside the work of eight other students, and will be accompanied by an exhibition in the college gallery.
The exhibition ‘Make Things Happen’ will be on display from May 21st - June 1st
