Some are already calling it… The Eighth Wonder of the World! 🏗️
Skateboard ramps, climbing walls, a Padel court, 5-a-side and basketball space, Scramble Stax, chill-out gazebos, table tennis—and more—all brought together around an incredible central quad.
It really does have it all!
A huge thank you to S&C Slatter for the opportunity for Playscheme to be part of this fantastic project Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate.

Bookkeeper (Part-Time – 2 Days per Week)
📍 Based at our main office in Elvington - Permanent Position
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis (2 days per week). This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is confident working in a busy office environment and enjoys supporting a wider operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Processing supplier invoices and customer invoices
• Credit card reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Handling CIS monthly returns
• Assisting with year-end accounts preparation
• Supporting the Operations Team with: Purchase orders, applying correct nominal codes, resolving payment queries
• Speaking to customers regarding their accounts and outstanding balances
• Maintaining accurate financial records using SAGE 50 Accounts
Requirements:
• Strong working knowledge of SAGE 50 Accounts software
• Experience with VAT, CIS, and credit card reconciliation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to assist colleagues across departments
Working Hours:
•2 days per week (specific days negotiable)
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is confident working with numbers, and thrives in a collaborative office setting.
