Elvington Under Fives

Elvington Under Fives Preschool for children 2 to 5 years old We are open from 8am – 3pm, Monday to Thursday (term time) and we charge £4.50 an hour.

Elvington Under Fives is a preschool for 2 to 5-year-olds and operates from a purpose built building in the Elvington C of E school grounds. We take children from Elvington and all surrounding villages. All children matter to us and we are able to provide care for children who may have specific special educational needs. We have 5 fully qualified staff who are all first aid qualified. We also keep
up to date on all safeguarding issues, health and safety as well as all other relevant courses to make sure your child is in a safe and nurturing environment

We also offer wrap round care as we work closely with Elvington Afterschool Club who pick up from playgroup at 3.00 and take the children to the sports club and they are open until 6pm daily. Holiday club opens daily 8 am till 6pm and places should be prebooked

We also operate a parent, baby and toddler group in Elvington Village Hall which meets on Wednesday and Thursday between 9.45am and 11.15am. Come and join us with your little ones for friendly fun and games, songs, crafts and the chance to meet new friends. Sessions cost £2.50 for parent and child, with additional children an extra 50p. Tea or coffee is provided, with a snack and juice for children. Please ring for more information about any of the above or to make an appointment to come and have a look around our preschool. Fun in the snow. The children couldn’t wait to come out. Why is it that children don’t feel the cold 🥶
