Our sports leaders had an amazing day at the Cricket World Cup at Headingley today. Lots of 4s and 6s to cheer on as Australia played Bangladesh and then India played the Netherlands. Both matches were exciting and the children were a pleasure to be with. What a fantastic reward for our amazing sports leaders!

This week Class 5/4 completed a 3D art topic. The Year 4s learnt about relief sculptures and used natural materials to create texture. They added paint to make their sculptures look metallic. The Year 5s learnt about armatures - a frame used for sculpting. They used plastic bowls and pots to create a 3D paper mache bowl.
