About Us
Welcome to Cheeky Monkeys Playgroup! We are a lively, fun-loving, and supportive team dedicated to creating a warm, stimulating, and safe environment for our little monkeys to explore, learn, and grow. We pride ourselves on making everyday learning an adventure.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as an apprentice working towards their level 3 qualification for 21 hours a week.Learning alongside our experienced team, you will:
• Help create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Assist in planning and setting up creative, play-based learning activities.
• Observe and engage with children to support their early development and social skills.
• Assist with essential daily routines, clearing up, and personal care.
• Form friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.
What We Are Looking For
• Qualifications: A childcare qualification is a plus, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic individuals looking to start or grow their childcare career. GCSE level 4 Maths and English / level 2 functional skills equivalent
• Skills: Excellent communication, a patient nature, and a strong understanding of how to keep children safe.
• Personality: Energetic, reliable, creative, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Can we please remind parents our beach party is this Friday 8.35. till 11.35. We will be having a water sprinkler so please bring your child’s bag as normal with spare clothes in it. 🌞🌞

Last few places left on our guess the destination fund raiser, £1 a guess £50 to the winner. The winning guess will be pulled out of the tub on Wednesday. Thank you again to everyone who has supported us through all our funding raising activities, as a registered charity we rely solely on fund raising to buy new equipment for the children.

With the high temperatures forecast for the next few days, can we remind parents to make sure their child has a water bottle, sun hat, spare clothes in their bag and are dressed in cool comfortable clothes. We are going to try our hardest to keep everyone cool, we are going to be playing in the tree garden where there’s a bit more shade with lots of water play.
