We have delivered as many things as we could today, if we haven’t been to you keep an eye on the post.

Massive thank you as always for supporting us. Now for some well earned rest for the Cheeky ladies, it has been a term like no other for illness.

All the children that came to the party today had their photo taken with our special guest, Father Christmas. We will be posting the photos through your door tomorrow morning xx

We would like to wish all our families a very happy Christmas! Some of the children left the party today without taking their book from Santa. Please comment if your child did not get a book and we will save it for them to get after Christmas.

A reminder that we break up after session today for Christmas! We are open tomorrow for the Christmas party 9.30-11.30 am. All children are invited. Parents are invited in at 11.30 to draw the raffle.

Parents, we have one confirmed case of Scarlet fever in playgroup. Please keep a look out for the symptoms in your child which can include:
High temp
Sore throat
Body aches
Rash.
If your child develops any of these symptoms please keep them at home and contact your GP.

Last time we used the word we were attacked by scammers. 😂

We are open as normal tomorrow, we are on skeleton staff as some staff are still poorly, but we are in ratio.

This little one was left at playgroup on Saturday after the photos. Does anyone recognise her?

Christmas party is on Thursday 15th December, all children are invited. The party will be at 9.30 till 11.30. Parents are invited into playgroup at 11.30 for the raffle being drawn.
Christmas jumpers are optional please don’t buy one specially.

Update on Covid , we now have three confirmed cases in children. We wish everyone a speedy recovery.xx

We have notified Public Health about our Covid cases, they have advised us to remind parents of children aged 2&3 they are eligible for flu vaccine . Please contact your GP’s for advise on getting the flu spray .

Covid update.
One of our little ones has tested positive for Covid this morning, symptoms were high temperature, sickness and diarrhoea. Hopefully we don’t get anymore, but this just reinforces our decision to close this week.
Once again thank you for your support and understanding.

Just to update you all another member of staff has tested positive. If we all make it to Christmas it will be a miracle.

Urgent announcement!!!!
We have had two suspected cases of Covid in children towards the end of last week, these weren’t confirmed as parents didn’t have any lateral flow tests.
Hannah has just tested positive, she is quite poorly which is a worry as she has Asthma too.
So we have had to take the drastic action of closing for this next coming week. The germ is obviously in playgroup among the children and the equipment. During this week playgroup will be deep cleaned to hopefully eradicate the germ.
We are so sorry for the late notice and for any inconvenience this is going to cause but we feel as a group this is the only action we can take to stop the cycle.
Please share this post and message other parents who you may have contact numbers for.
I will ring parents in the morning.
Please keep a look out for symptoms in your children as they will have been around Hannah and the other two unconfirmed cases.

Just to keep our families up to date. We now have another member of staff off as their child is poorly. We are still in ratio with the children we have, but if another member of staff is unable to come to work we will have to close for the remainder of the week. As we are on skeleton staff, the management have made the decision that there will be no weekly photos or observations uploaded to tapestry this week.
If your child is unwell please keep them at home till they are better.

We now have two staff members that have tested positive for covid (Tracey and Helen). We are following the official guidance which advises that adults should avoid contact with others for five days and three days for children. Please be mindful of the symptoms and keep your child at home if they become unwell.

Urgent announcement!
Unfortunately playgroup will have to close this coming Monday 14th November. Tracey has now tested positive for covid.
We will be open as normal from Tuesday onwards and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Can we remind families who have booked a photo slot , we need payment by Friday 11th of November. We have a few places left if anyone else is interested.

We are in need of jam jars, if you have any in your recycling we would be grateful. We don’t need lids, just the clean jars.

We are back to Playgroup tomorrow, if your child wants to dress up for Halloween that’s fine it’s not compulsory though. Can we ask that you put your child’s name in the costumes.🕸🕸🕸👻👻👻

We break up for half term after session on Friday. We open again on Halloween, if the children want to come dressed up that’s fine but it’s not compulsory.

There seems to be some confusion around the proposed 50 weeks a year opening from January.
So if you would like your child to attend for 50 weeks of the year instead of term time only it would mean that your child’s funding is stretched over 50 weeks instead of 38 weeks. Therefore reducing the amount of funded hours your child is entitled to each week. This means that you would have to pay a top up fee. The amounts are detailed on the letter. Please speak to Tracey or Hannah if you would like us to work out the entitlement for your child, or drop us a message. 😃

Reminder to book your slot for white box photography. If we do not get enough uptake we may have to cancel 😢

Hannah and Tracey have just had some training around Diabetes. Apparently the specialist are seeing more and more younger children coming through with Diabetes. Here are the things to look out for.

Just a reminder to parents of children who turn 4 before the 31st August.

We have had a few enquiries regarding White Box Photography, so just to confirm the photo shoots are available for anyone who is interested. The money needs to be paid by the 11/11/22.
