We don’t have any organised sailing this weekend.
The next scheduled event is for the Junior League on Sunday 16th August.

We have an expedition on Sunday, hopefully everyone has seen the messages and returned the form if needing boats. Current forecast has very little wind so keep a look out for updates.
Last week we managed to dunk a number of juniors in the river, but they all seemed to enjoy the challenge. We have a number who are getting good at dry capsize as well and Darren plans to have a board to record these soon!

The weather looks perfect for the junior league on Sunday, four more to go so still a chance to beat Ben. Newcomers welcome, including adults, for a chance to practice your skills.
It’s the last chance to gain points on Wednesday evening, again the weather forecast looks just right for a sail.

We had eight people down for training this weekend, so it is congratulations to our youngest Connie accompanied by her sister Rosa, Eiladh, siblings Ben and Elizabeth, mother and daughter Helene and Elora, and James. We hope to see you all again soon. We have a junior league/beginners day next Sunday and hopefully an expedition the week after.
Thanks also go to Nick and Rachel (along with our own junior Gregory) who joined the training team

It looks like it is going to be dry for the Naburn Paddle on Saturday where we will see the National 12 dinghies, although a little more challenging with the wind again this year.
It’s good weather and wind for the Summer Barbecue and Topper Regatta on Sunday as well, although a little cloudy. Please make sure you have returned your form if you are eating with us.
Wednesday points have been quiet lately but still running for a nice evening sail.

We are racing for the Dr Cameron Memorial Cup on Sunday - three pursuit races with the trophy being awarded to the helmsman with the best aggregate of points.
Wednesday evening has standard points racing and the wind may have settled a little by then.

Save the dates for Naburn Paddle on 13th June and the Topper Regatta with the summer barbecue on 14th June.
