10 weeks and 5 days out from the first competition of the year. 27lbs down in total. Definitely feeling it now but we keep digging.

My biggest bit of advice is to just take each day at a time. Tick off daily tasks set to the best of your ability and you will see progress I guarantee it.

CLIENT UPDATE - SHAUN:-

A little visual change after a 5lb drop since working together.

Shaun already had pretty good body composition but just wanted to look better for the summer.

With him getting up at 2/3am for work and having a physical job, I check in everyday to see how he feels/ how he is recovering/ then set the tone for the rest of the day.

Some days we pull back, some days we push on. All depending on his recovery capabilities.

Expect a big transformation from this lad. His work ethic is second to none!

WE CAN ALL ACHIEVE ANYTHING WE SET OUT TO ACHIEVE!

Photo one: lockdown, training at home with minimal equipment, no set plan/ just trying to get by. I let things slip a little as you can see, but I knew I was better than this. So I invested in myself and got an online coach to help.

Photo two: 4 months later. Having a programme in place and working extremely hard. I ACHIEVED this by believing I could.

The point of this post is everyone at some point will feel they are stuck. You just have to believe in yourself and make the change.

A logbook is one more tool in your fitness toolbox. There are several benefits to tracking your workouts:

Accountability: It’s one thing to set a goal and another to develop an implementation plan for achieving it. It can help keep you accountable to your long-term goals. It provides a record of measurable progress, which is critical for achieving your goals.

Motivation: A logbook is an excellent motivational tool. When you feel your enthusiasm and motivation dip, check through your workout history to see your progress. Seeing your progress will likely help create a sense of pride in what you have accomplished and help motivate you to keep going.

Information: A log book paints the big picture for you. By tracking your workouts, you’ll be able to identify fitness plateaus and see what works and what doesn’t work for you. Furthermore, it can provide information like machine set ups/ positioning so you aren't wasting time setting things up and having to adjust things mid set.
