What an amazing morning we had with Hamish from Playground Proms We began learning about the BBC Proms that happen every year in London at the Albert Hall and then we practised the song for next week's concert. We showed Hamish our second verse written by Year 6 with Mrs Stockill's support. Hamish was very impressed with our work.

In the second session we explored music with movement, learning through physical experience moving in response to musical cues using the Dalcroze method.

Thank you so much Hamish and the Playground Proms team, we had a great morning and are very excited for our concert next week.

Parents, carers and members of the local community are warmly invited to join us for this fun event and enjoy watching the children perform.

Children are invited to wear red, white and blue clothing on Friday 26th June (Oak Trees should wear clothing suitable for PE). A suggested donation of £1 would be greatly appreciated.

STAY & PLAY
We have one more stay and play session this month on Monday 27th April, we will then be back on the 1st of June due to two Bank Holidays and our SATs week.
