L & S Crafts L & S Crafts delivers papercraft workshops & Wild Harvest nature-inspired craft taster sessions.

L & S Crafts, based in York, is run by wife & husband team, Laura & Sam. Laura provides the ‘craft’ element and Sam the ‘artistic’ input! Coming from a crafty family, Laura is passionate about papercrafts, having made things by hand all her life. Highlights have included making items for our own DIY wedding & appearing as a guest on TV show ‘Winter on the Farm’! She really enjoys developing new workshops to pass on these skills to others. Papercrafts are a wonderful introduction to the world of craft, as with some very simple equipment and a bit of expert knowledge you can create such beautiful items to enjoy yourself or share with friends & family. In 2021 we became activity providers for Wild Harvest and now offer a selection of their natural craft activities. Out workshops can be found on our website, the Facebook Events tab & Eventbrite.

If you fancy learning how make your own Christmas decorations, check out our papercraft workshops. We will be back at A Touch of Craft Yorkshire in Ossett and Southlands Methodist Church in York with a mixture of old favourites and some new workshops for Christmas 2026.

It was good to be back at A Touch of Craft Yorkshire for paper flower making and our new origami crane workshop yesterday. When the group first started folding nobody believed they would ever be able to make such tiny cranes, but after just a few practice runs look what they made!
