🎒 Parents of Yeovil… are you ready for the school routine to return? 😅

After six weeks of “What are we doing today?”, September is finally here! 😂

For children, going back to school can bring mixed emotions. Some are excited to see their friends, while others may be feeling nervous or anxious about a new teacher, new class or new school.

🥋 Martial arts can be a great way to help children settle back into routine.

☀️ AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND ☀️

After staying open throughout the summer holidays, our instructors are taking a short and very well-earned break! 🥋🏖️

🔴 CLOSED: Saturday 29, Sunday 30 & Monday 31 August
🟢 REOPEN: Tuesday 1 September

From Tuesday, we’ll be back to our usual class timetable and ready to get everyone training as we head into September. 💪🥋

🚧 Travel alert: works on the A3088 Bunford Hill, Yeovil, are coming up in September and October. Regular road users and residents in the area will be aware there’s commercial and residential development at Bunford Hollow by Abbey Manor Group. These works are to create a new right turn off Watercombe Lane for vehicle access to Bunford Park, and are being undertaken by Abbey Manor Group’s contractors, AP Building Construction Ltd.

🗓️ Works start on Tuesday 1 September. Full weekend closures and weekday northbound closures start mid-September and continue until mid-October. Details 👇

From Tuesday 1 September, works start, the road will be narrowed but two-way traffic maintained.
From Friday 11 September, there will be full weekend closures, from 7pm on Fridays to 6am on Mondays. These are expected to continue for 5 weekends, the last closure ending 6am Monday 12 October.
From Monday 14 September to Friday 9 October, there will be weekday one-way north-bound closures, from 6am on Mondays to 7pm on Fridays.
