Today Pen Mill had their own little World Cup tournament 🏟️

The classes in Keystage One each picked one of the remaining 4 teams to represent.

Puffins were France 🇫🇷
Robins were Argentina 🇦🇷
Owls were Spain 🇪🇸
Goldfinch were England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We played our own semi finals and final.

Our winners of our World Cup final were…….

ENGLAND!!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We are hoping it’s a good omen for tonight’s game!

The year 2 children had the most wonderful time at Weymouth sea life centre today. They learnt so many interesting facts about different sea creatures.

Did you know that an octopus 🐙 has a brain in each one of its arms, and 3 hearts! ♥️

We were also very lucky that one of the penguin eggs had hatched this morning and the children were able to peek (quietly) at the newest addition.

Well done to all the Year 2 children it was a great day out!
