🌸 9 Years of Lucy's Littles Childminding 🌸
Nine years ago, Lucy's Littles started in a small front extension with a big dream. Today, I look around my lovely cabin and feel incredibly proud of how far we've come.
Over those nine years, I've had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful children and building relationships with families that have often become friendships. I've celebrated milestones, first steps, first words, school starts and so many special moments along the way.
The last few years haven't always been easy. Life has brought some incredibly difficult challenges, including a heartbreaking loss as a surrogate, unexpected health struggles that led to a diagnosis of a lifelong condition, countless hospital appointments and, more recently, becoming a foster carer.
There have been times when I wondered how I would juggle it all, but through every challenge, the kindness, understanding and support from my families has never gone unnoticed. The trust you place in me each day, your messages of encouragement, your patience when life has thrown me a curveball, and the friendships that have grown from caring for your children have meant more than I can ever put into words.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your little ones, for supporting my small business, and for being part of this journey. Lucy's Littles wouldn't be what it is today without you.
Here's to 9 years of learning, laughter, adventures and memories — and hopefully many more to come. 💜
