What a wonderful time the children and staff had at Weymouth last week! The children had a great time exploring the pebbles and shells, paddling in the sea, playing seaside games and enjoying an ice pole. Thank you so much to the teachers and staff for their hard work organising the day and to the lovely volunteers who made the trip possible☀️

The Year 1 children (and grown ups!) had a fabulous day in Lyme Regis last week. We were amazed to see the fabulous fossils and life-sized dinosaur models at the Museum ‘Dinosaur Land’. We were even allowed to touch some of the super fossils.
We then did a spot of fossil hunting of our own. The children were very successful; finding lots of interesting imprints in rocks. We even found a magnificent ammonite!
We took time and care when sketching the Mary Anning Statue and created some beautiful pieces.
Thank you so much to the school staff for organising the trip and to our wonderful volunteers for their help. It was a brilliant day with lots of learning and fun!

Wow we are super lucky to have had the amazing Authors and Illustrators Sarah McIntyre and Philip Reeve visit!
They carried out an amazing workshop with us, teaching us to become Illustrators and Authors.
They also shared some of their brilliant new Adventuremice story Mice on the Moon which we cannot wait to read 😊
If you would like to order a copy of the new Adventuremice book you can still buy one at the very special price of £5 if you send the form back to school this week.

Thank you to everyone who donated. We were overwhelmed with the amount of gifts received. They made a lovely rainbow!

A massive thank you to the Friends of Milford Infants' School and Preschool for paying for the fantastic GRAB team to spend the morning with our children.

We’re organising a great event in March where local families can hire a table and come along to sell any preloved clothing, toys, books, baby equipment, maternity clothing……anything baby/child relevant!

If you’ve had a massive clear out since Christmas (or really want to!) then this gives you the chance to sell your unwanted items and make some money ahead of the Easter holidays.

Stall Fees:
Pre loved: £10.00 (6ft table provided) - Only 17 stalls available.

Stalls available for crafts and businesses too:
Craft stall: £15.00 (please provide own table, up to 6ft)
Business Stall: £20.00 (please provide own table, up to 6ft)

Don’t forget this Friday is non-school uniform in aid of our dear friend Pudsey - in aid of Children in Need!

Children are encouraged to go spotty in return for making a donation. Whether it’s a spotty T-shirt, spotty leggings or simply some spotty socks!
Every penny donated in our collection buckets will go towards Pudsey’s many fundraising projects across the UK.
