CHRISTMAS FAMILY DISCO UPDATE
We are very sad to update you that, due to advice from Public health and concerns over the new Covid variant, we are going to have to cancel our Christmas family disco on Saturday.
We will, instead, hold a Children's disco on the same day/time/place for all children currently attending nursery over 2 years old. There will be a disco for dancing and party games plus a party tea. Parents/carers will drop off and pick up at the door to the YESS club. If you already have your name on our list, your place is booked. If not, please ensure you speak to a member of staff to put your children on the list as we need to maintin staff ratios etc... Thank you
*If your child is turning 2 in the next few weeks - by the end of Dec - we can make an exception if you feel they will be ok with the loud music etc...Please speak to a member of staff
**Unfortunately the party can only be for children currently attending Appletree due to us needing to stay in our nursery 'Bubble'. Thankyou

UPDATE: FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY
We are very aware of the rising Coronavirus cases in the area. We will continue to monitor this and may have to review our plans for the Christmas Family Disco as we want to keep all families and staff safe and well. Please keep the date in your diary as we will definetely be doing something even if we cannot keep to our original plans. We will keep you updated as we get closer to the date. Thank you for your understanding

All ready for Mondays learning - measuring capacity with coloured water, freeing the Disney characters by snipping the elastic bands, transporting the pasta in the diggers tray and designing and building bridges with wooden blocks to cross the river!

COVID RESTRICTIONS UPDATE
As I am sure you are aware Covid restrictions are being lifted from Monday 19th July across the country. We will continue to be cautious but there will be the following changes.

*Staff and parents will no longer be required to wear masks for close handovers UNLESS they feel they want to.
*Although we will stick with 2 main bubbles, under and over 3's, there will be some flexibility with staff if required to cover holidays etc...
*Parents of new babies and children will now be able to come into the nursery for settling in settings and to meet the staff.
*We will continue to collect all other children at the door or gate for the time being. It works well for the daily running of the nursery.

Please continue to work with us in regards to keeping children with Covid symptoms away from nursery and testing when necessary.
