🌟 A Fantastic Start to the New School Year! 🌟

Our children absolutely love our 'Points Mean Prizes' scheme, made possible through the wonderful support of Midwest Stationers. Pupils enjoy earning points and redeeming them for exciting rewards from our community prize shop.

As we begin a new school year, we'd be incredibly grateful for any donations to help keep the prize shop stocked and continue motivating our children to do their very best.

What makes this scheme even more special is that we tell our children that these prizes have been donated by members of our local community. It helps them understand that they are part of something bigger, a community that cares about them and wants to support them in becoming respectful, responsible citizens.

To earn these prizes, children must demonstrate the values we encourage every day through their learning, behaviour and the way they treat others. The scheme helps them recognise that kindness, respect, effort and positive choices are noticed and rewarded, both in school and by the wider community around them.

🎁 If you'd like to support the scheme, please pop into Midwest Office Supplies in town and donate a prize if you can. Every contribution, big or small, helps us celebrate our pupils' hard work, positive attitudes and achievements.

We are excited to share that we have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise £2,890 to help expand our children's cultural capital through enriching musical experiences.

The funding will support our new Expression Weeks, where children will have the opportunity to explore music, develop their creativity, build confidence, and experience inspiring performances and workshops that enhance their learning beyond the classroom.

FREE – COLLECTION REQUIRED

We are offering the following items free of charge to anyone who can collect and remove them:

-Chicken run and coop
-Water tank

These would be ideal for anyone with smallholdings, allotments, or enjoy home projects.

Collection only – you will need to arrange your own transport and removal.

Free School Meals

Children approved for free school meals not only receive a healthy meal on every school day, but they also get,
• access to free holiday clubs (Holiday Activities & Food Programme)
• extra money for their school towards more teachers and activities (pupil premium)
• Holiday food vouchers, as long as funding continues

From September 2026 the government is expanding Free School Meals criteria so that all households who receive any level of Universal Credit can apply.

If you haven’t yet applied for free school meals but think you might be eligible, please complete the confidential online checker:
