Year 7 Summer School 2026

Last week was a hugely successful week at the academy. Alongside celebrating a brilliant set of GCSE results from our former Year 11 students, we were delighted to welcome 72 of our upcoming Year 7 students to this year’s Summer School.

Students had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of subjects, while also meeting new staff and making new friends. Starting a new journey can be daunting, but we were incredibly impressed by the togetherness and community spirit shown by our new Year 7s.

It was amazing to watch them engage, support one another and begin building friendships that we hope will continue throughout their time with us.

Well done, Year 7! We can’t wait to see you in September and officially welcome you into the BMA community. 🎉

📚✨ Welcome to Year 7! ✨📚

We are looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students as they begin their journey with us.

🕗 Arrival time: 8:30am
📍 Students should enter via the main school gate and make their way to the hall where staff will be available to help.

The day will include:
✅ Meeting tutors and teachers
✅ Receiving timetables
✅ Getting to know the school site
✅ Making new friends

Another successful transition day for our Year 6 pupils! Today they had the opportunity to experience a range of lessons, meet their teachers, explore the school, and get a feel for what life will be like in September. We hope they had a fantastic day, and we look forward to welcoming them back for the start of the new school year in September.
