Don’t forget St Margaret’s C of E Primary are being filmed and recorded for Children in Need on Friday 5th November first thing. We are all dressing up and will be live on the radio singing By Your Side by Calvin Harris and Tom Grennan. Look out for some groovy dance moves as we’ll later be featured on BBC Points West!

This is all to raise money for mental health charities; a very worthy cause especially after the last 20 months. This is our opportunity to look after other children as well as we look after each other here in school.

Ms Robinson and some children from Creators Class will be LIVE on BBC Radio Somerset on Thursday morning from 9:15am. Tune in to hear them and please do share our Children in Need donation link far and wide!

As part of our work on black history month we have Organic Rhythm, coming to run an African drumming workshop tomorrow. The children will find out about the music from West Africa as well as the clothing that children wear. We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £4.50 per child towards the cost of the event.

A hidden gem in rural Somerset, just 10 minutes from Yeovil. St Margaret’s is a caring school at the heart of the community. Children can join our school from 2 years old in a dedicated pre-school next door to the reception class. This ensures a smooth transition into school and our children start full-time from day one . Our students are taught in single year groups (on average 12 per class) for core subjects and come together for more creative and collaborative work. We Have an amazing outdoor space where we run a forest school. Families are supported through the holiday periods by the offer of a popular holiday club.

Christmas Jumpers can be brought into school next week...

Next week we will be collecting your pre-loved Christmas jumpers, which we will look to sell later in the year to raise money for the children at St.Margaret's school. If you have any that you would like to donate, we would be very grateful if you could bring them to school from 14th to 18th June!
