🌟 Welcome Back, Everyone! 🌟

What a wonderful first day back at school! It has been so lovely to see our classrooms and playground / Muga filled once again with happy faces, laughter, friendship and excitement.

A particularly warm welcome to all of our new children and families joining our St Andrew’s community — we are so delighted to have you with us and hope you will soon feel very much at home. ❤️

Tree Planting Ceremony

Today, we were delighted to welcome Celia Steven to our school as she gifted us a beautiful grafted Bramley Apple tree. Pupils and staff gathered together to plant the tree in the school's front garden, where it can be enjoyed by everyone for years to come.
The Bramley apple holds a special significance for our school because of its strong connection to Celia's family, our local community orchard and the annual Apple Day Festival, which celebrate the importance of growing, sharing, and enjoying local produce. This tree will serve as a lasting reminder of our links with the wider community and our commitment to caring for the environment.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Celia for her generous gift and for helping us create a legacy that future generations of pupils can enjoy. 🍎🌳

Introducing Miss Emma Wright who will be joining the St Andrew's team in September as our new administrator...

"Hello everyone! I am delighted to be joining St Andrew's as the new School Administrator in September. I have previously worked in a similar role, so I am looking forward to bringing that experience to support staff, students, and families, and helping to ensure the school continues to be a welcoming, organised, and positive environment where every student can thrive. I love making the most of the beautiful area we live in, spending time outdoors, with my family and our pets. I am excited to meet and get to know you all in the new term. Have a lovely summer!"

Phew! What a hot week we've had but lots to celebrate and share. Have a read of the newsletter to find out more. Wishing you a lovely, cool weekend.

There is often a misconception that, as we move towards the end of the summer term, schools begin to wind down and slow the pace. In reality, these final few weeks are some of the busiest and most pro

The Bramleys had a fantastic time making their own smoothies today! They enjoyed preparing the ingredients, mixing their creations and, of course, tasting the finished results. There were lots of smiles as the children explored different flavours and developed their food preparation skills. Well done, Bramleys! 😊🥤

Bramleys and Pippins had a lovely morning with a special visit from Nick and Sam, who showed us some amazing moths that had been collected in a moth trap left overnight in the Foundation outdoor area. The children were fascinated by the variety of moth species they observed and thoroughly enjoyed learning about them. They asked lots of thoughtful questions and were amazed by the different colours, patterns and sizes they discovered. The experience inspired some fantastic learning and it was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the wildlife that can be found right here in our school grounds. 🦋✨
