The first stars of the week of the new academic year at QPS! 🌟 ⭐️ 💫

We are proud of the achievements of ALL our children this week and are pleased with how everyone has settled. Change can be hard but together, we have had a positive week!

Also, shout out to ALL the QPS staff. No single person could be chosen - it had to be ALL of our AMAZING staff for all that they have done to get our new year off to a positive start.

We are so excited to welcome all our children back to school on Thursday!

Our staff have worked incredibly hard over the summer to make our learning environment even better, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it. A huge thank you to our wonderful team for all their hard work!

Here is a sneak peek at our new and improved library. We are passionate about inspiring a lifelong love of reading, so we have created a space that is more accessible, welcoming and engaging for all our children. 📚✨

Colour Run! 🎨

It was a brilliant atmosphere. Yet again lots of smiley faces at this amazing experience the PTA have funded and organised.

We are so so lucky to have our PTA, so many dedicated children and families and last but not least, having the incredible staff team who consistently go above and beyond.

We had such a wonderful time after school tonight playing rounders: QPS leavers vs staff.

Great fun had by all and refreshments kindly supplied by our PTA.

We will miss all the children who are leaving us but wish them all the best for their next steps ☀️

Can’t wait for this event! 🎨

Our favourite event of the year is back! On Thursday 16th July QPS children are invited to come along and join in the fun. There will be Hotdogs and drinks to buy on the day.

Our chosen charity this year is a local charity called Martys Penny Bank. All money raised will be split between Queensway PTA and Martys Penny Bank.

Sports Day! We are grateful for the perfect weather ☀️
The children enjoyed different activities and races. We are so proud of how they approached each aspect of the events - great teamwork and sportsmanship. An event we all enjoyed!

Yet another big shout out to our wonderful PTA for funding a whole school visit (with snacks) to see Toy Story 5 at the cinema! A lovely morning was had by all 🍿 🧃 🍫

Our children have been working hard to produce some lovely art work linked to the theme of ‘Nursery Rhymes’ joining together with our local ALPT school to make an impressive art gallery at St Oswald’s Church.

They have been working in class and in forest school sessions to make some fantastic artwork - thanks to our staff and children for being so creative.

All of the masterpieces can be viewed over the weekend in church. 🎨
