Our latest Music Production & Sampling video is now LIVE on YouTube!

This time, our students chose Guns N’ Roses’ iconic “November Rain” as their sample source and got creative with what they could find within the track.

From selecting and chopping samples to using MIDI MPC pads to build beats, rhythms and melodies, they’ve transformed sounds from a classic into their own original musical ideas 🎶🥁🔥

We’re excited to share “Grounded Pressure”. The track is a mellow, atmospheric trip-hop track created by one of our talented students 🎶🎧
Inspired by the iconic sounds of Portishead and Tricky, this track blends deep grooves, haunting textures and hypnotic rhythms to create a dark, immersive atmosphere with an underlying sense of tension.
Perfect for films, documentaries, vlogs and creative visuals, Grounded Pressure showcases just how much creativity, passion and hard work can go into a student project 🎶❤️👏

What an amazing Coding Summer Workshop we've had! Our brilliant attendees have created some really cool games that they can now take home and continue playing and developing. 🚀🎮

In one of our latest videos, we take a look at the original sample source that inspired RZA, explore how samples and drums were selected, and follow the process of creating a brand-new interpretation of this classic track 🎶
It’s a great insight into how sampling, creativity and collaboration come together in music production and how our students can take inspiration from the past to create something of their own! 🙌

A look at our raised performance platform, built to give our productions even more levels, entrances, and creative staging possibilities.

A huge thank you to Glen and the team at Area Four Industries UK for supplying the staging and handrails that form the main structure of the platform, and to Mateusz and the team at Bama Fabrication in Yaxley for supplying and cutting the scaffolding poles used to support the build.

It's fantastic to work with great suppliers, including a local Yaxley business, to turn our ideas into something that can be used by our young performers and technicians.

We're really pleased with how the finished platform came together and even more excited to see how we can use it in future productions!
