At Frogmore, every student belongs to one of four Houses: Oak, Willow, Rowan or Cedar. Our House system brings together students from across all year groups, creating opportunities for younger and older students to work together, support one another and take pride in their shared identity.
Our Houses are more than teams. They are a way of building community, developing character and celebrating the many different ways in which our students contribute to school life. Each House takes its name from a tree, chosen to represent qualities that we want to see in our students:
Gold – Oak
Strength · Leadership · Resilience
The Oak represents strength and stability. Students in Oak are encouraged to lead with confidence, face challenges with determination and be dependable members of their community.
Blue – Willow
Resilience · Flexibility · Transformation
The Willow represents adaptability and growth. Students in Willow are encouraged to embrace change, learn from challenges and show resilience when things do not go as planned.
Red – Rowan
Aspiration · Protection · Resilience
The Rowan represents aspiration and guardianship. Students in Rowan are encouraged to aim high, look out for others and show determination in pursuing their goals.
Green – Cedar
Ambition · Dignity · Endurance
The Cedar represents ambition, dignity and lasting strength. Students in Cedar are encouraged to set themselves high expectations, conduct themselves with pride and persevere when faced with challenges.
Throughout the school year, students will have opportunities to earn House rewards when they demonstrate these values in action. Whether it is showing determination in their learning, supporting a member of the school community, developing a new skill, demonstrating leadership or responding positively to a challenge, every student has the opportunity to make a difference.
